Steel Drum Christmas Free Concert / Food Drive
Please join the Lakewood First United Methodist Church steel drum band for a concert of beautiful Christmas melodies played on steel drums. Our own Lakewood Steel will be joined by three other steel bands from the LA area: St. Joseph’s High School steel band, Long Beach School of Steel Drum, and the Harper Family steel drum band. As many as 30 people will be performing together at this event.
Don’t forget that the Lakewood Steel Drum Band plays for food! Instead of paying an entrance fee or taking a monetary collection for this event, please bring an offering of canned food or sealed dry food. The food will all be donated to the Lakewood First United Methodist Church Broken Loaf Food Pantry.
