Art of Resistance will include a panel featuring Rev. Dr. Monica A. Coleman, Associate Professor of Constructive Theology and African American Religions at Claremont School; attorney Lisa Powell, Co-Founder of United Lesbians of African Heritage; Nerissa Irizarry, Rev. Dr. Velma Union, CEO of One Light International. There will be live performances from reggae band Dread Daze, poet Imani Tolliver, and soulful singer/songwriter Lillie Russ. DJ Mark Maxwell of 90.7 FM KPFK radio show “Rise” will be spinning a hot international mix.
