WEXFORD songstress ODi celebrates the release of her debut album ‘Maslow’s Songbook’ with a headline slot at Upstairs in Dolan’s for Green and Live Sessions 19 on Thursday October 29. Recorded between January and April 2009 in locations around Ireland with producer Karl Odlum (Fionn Regan, The Frames, David Kitt), the album also features musical contributions from Colm Mac Con Iomaire (The Frames/Swell Season) and Rónán Ó Snodaigh (Kíla). ‘Red Light’, the first single to be taken from the 12-track album is currently on the RTE Radio 1 playlist and receiving airplay on regional stations across Ireland. The b-side, ‘You Win But You Lose’, has also been selected for use on a future episode of the RTE medical drama ‘The Clinic’, scheduled for screening this autumn. Also on the line-up for Green and Live Sessions 19 is Jennifer Evans and the Ripe Intent and Limerick singer Sí. Doors open at 8pm and admission is free. Green and Live is broadcast on Limerick Live 95FM every Friday from 10pm to midnight with presenter Alan Jacques.
