The first fan event of its kind in the UK, the SFX Weekender promises the ultimate sci-fi experience, packed with activities for fans: big-name guests, interviews, Q&A sessions, comic workshops, videogaming, music, book readings and plenty more at one of the UK’s best-loved holiday parks.
With a full line-up to be announced over coming months, sci-fi legends John Barrowman (Doctor Who and Torchwood) and James Marsters (Angel, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Smallville and Torchwood) are already signed up to appear at the SFX Weekender. Also confirmed are novelists China Miéville and Robert Rankin and Doctor Who/Primeval scriptwriter Paul Cornell. Exhibitors and supporters include Manga, Forbidden Planet International, Tor, Gollancz, Diamond Comics Distribution and 2000AD.
