, Melbourne, Victoria 3066
Cost: $15

FULL LINE-UP: Crayon Fields + Robin Fox Laser Show + Your Animal + Heavy Mental + Parking Lot Experiments Nothing sums up the DIY spirit of resistance embodied in the BFF quite like a night of great local music. Presented by Triple R, Bikes Rock! features 4 band, a friggen laser show, DJs, a BBQ and some very good times. Bikes Rock! will occupy whole of The Tote (front bar, band room and cobra bar) to create a sprawling celebration befitting the two weeks of revelry it is closing. 18+ only. CRAYON FIELDS (photo attached): Following their stunning double sell out performances at Bella Union, Crayon Field’s next Melbourne show will take place at the ’Bikes Rock!’ event at the tote. Their sophomore album "All The Pleasures of the World" has been described as a rare attention to melody, nuance, charm and cleverness. ROBIN FOX LASER SHOW (photo attached): Robin Fox’s laser show describes, in three-dimensional visual space, the geometry of sound. Enveloping the audience in synchronous sound and light information, the experience resembles a synaesthetic experience where what you hear is also what you see. The same electricity generated to move the speaker cones is sent simultaneously to high-speed motors that deflect the laser light on an x/y axis converting sonic vibration into light movement. YOUR ANIMAL: A menagerie of Ms Julie Montan, Mr Jarrad Brown and Ms Amanda Roff. Self described as an experimental vision from Mars! HEAVY MENTAL (photo attached): Romy’s (Macromantics) heavily-mental new project think pink spandex and metal rap tracks yelling at you to loose those extra pounds! back by Stefi Graffix on guitar and Ivaan Tornamental on drums. PARKING LOT EXPERIMENTS (photo attached): these guys master ticklish, shiny melodies enmeshed with fresh, quirky electro rushes. Communal yelps and harmonies adorn Dave Connor’s excitable, and brilliantly childish vocal lead. From 5pm - with BBQ in the beer garden $15 on the door ONLY from 5PM
