After launching debut single “Asking” with a national solo tour in August, Suzie Stapleton returned to Melbourne to recruit some bad arse talent for her live band. Get down to The Tote on Sunday November 15 to welcome into the fold Rui Pereira (The Drones) on guitar, Helen Buckley on drums and Jim Selene on bass. A drunk guy in a pub likened her voice to “a 747 taking off” and she likens the band something really cool too. Yeah. Dead River Deeps and Dan Webb will be joining the celebrations.
