13274 Sagle Road, Purcellville, Virginia 20132
Cost: $10/12
Rain or shine. Also featuring great local gypsy jazz string band The Woodshedders, Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band, Jake and the Burtones, Steve DeVries and the Polka Dots. Andrew plays 1:30-2:45pm. If you have yet to take in one of the many wineries nestled along the slopes of northern Virginia’s Blue Ridge, here’s a great opportunity. The outdoor music stage nestled against the timber frame tasting room with an afternoon of bluegrass and folk music, folk artisans selling heirloom-quality art, two wonderful and two great charitable causes including screening of The Downstream Project’s documentary film "Shenandoah: Voices of the River" and a food drive for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (please see the items accepted list), and BBQ smokers with delicious food and our own fresh-baked goods. All this plus rural mountain landscapes at their peak of fall color.
