Forgotten Carols:The Feral Choir with Emily Smith & Tom Pow This beautiful and atmospheric concert is fast becoming an essential part of Galloway’s winter celebrations. It features "forgotten" carols originating from Britain’s rich folk traditions. In this Homecoming year the focus will be on winter songs and carols associated with Scotland and emigrants to North America. The performance is woven together with readings of contemporary poetry and prose. The soloist this year will be the award winning Emily Smith and making a popular return as this year’s reader is Dumfries based writer Tom Pow. Tickets include mulled wine and mince pies.
