seel st, Liverpool, Northwest l1
Cost: £4
LIVERPOOL band Xander and the Peace Pirates have previously been found playing everywhere from the city streets to the Philharmonic Hall.
They will be known to many for their weekly radio slot Pirate Copies, where listeners ring up and suggest songs for the band to cover on Billy Butler’s Friday Radio Merseyside show.
The blues-rock purveyors of Sixties-style peace and love have also supported Buddy Guy and Eric Bibb on two separate concerts at the Philharmonic, and, in their own words, say they are “soaring and heading toward their goal of world peace and harmony”.
Fresh from the studio, come hear their new material and if Tony at the Zanzi aint listening they might throw in a couple of cheeky covers, come down and check the new four piece line up tear the fuck out of this fascist mind prison,
as always
peace and love
