Marking the 40th anniversary of this remarkable recording at Madison Square Garden, Tim Rogers has assembled the finest list of musicians Melbourne has to offer to pay homage to this landmark live album. However, ‘Charlie’s Good Tonight’ will not only celebrate the New York shows but draw inspiration from all the great moments of that 1969 North American tour – including the infamous Altamont performance and the live debut of some staple Stones classics.
