Art Since the Summer of ’69 is proud to present Look Back 1 & 2, two events as joint efforts between Norwegian musicians Nils Bech and Bendik Giske and artist Lina Viste Grønli.
Look Back is a performance in two parts, co-presented by Art Since the Summer of ’69 and Performa 09. Performing on stage with sculptures by Lina Viste Grønli, Nils Bech will combine sparse acapella versions of contemporary and classical music and well-crafted electronica in a conceptual stage show laced with cabaret and contemporary dance, involving a supersize pea and a Helvetica slash, in collaboration with saxofonist Bendik Giske.
Look Back 1 will take place at Art Since the Summer of ’69, an intimate concert in-between Lina Viste Gronli’s sculptures on the opening of her exhibition Effigies, which will be open throughout November 27. Look Back 2 will take place as part of a day of Performa 09 performances at Performance Space at University Settlement.
