Kendall Ludwig (full band) - With melody merged to story, to lyric—Kendall Ludwig’s art diminishes the confessional song to its roots, revives the folk tale to breath, and provides a so-called applicable world with subtle starlight. By dulcimer, by longing voice, by the syncopation of string and wood, callus to finger, words to air, space and time are collapsed and folk is told. Lovely Houses - www.myspace.com/lovelyhouses Lovely Houses is a songwriter from Indianapolis, IN. He began performing in the spring of ’06 and recently released his first album Dragon Feet. The debut is a folk-rock record full of beautiful melodies and well-crafted lyrics. Since the release, Lovely Houses has performed throughout the U.S. extensively. He plans to continue touring and sharing his music with anyone willing to listen, empowered by the belief that music is a beautiful language and art form here to help us all get through this mess of a world. You and Yourn - www.myspace.com/youandyourn Love, then music, then marriage…the story continues. Since 2001, Heather and Nic Dillon have recorded together and toured throughout the United States and Canada, performing with the band Winter In Alaska and under their former name, Casados. Their newest self-engineered/recorded project, “It Would Make Things Worse,” is a culmination of a sonic evolution that has brought them out of the pedestrian indie-folk-singer-songwriter genre and into their current coat: lyrically-driven, atmospheric chamber-folk. Here you will find a gentler, more deliberate dynamic that alludes not only to the more gleeful aspects of life and love, but also the darker. “It Would Make Things Worse” is slated for national release on Parasol Records in September 2009.
