The benefit is for Ryan and Heather (Watkins) Skagen. They recently experienced a tragic loss when their 9 day old daughter, Aura Kay Skagen, passed away due to complications from a 36 hour delivery. The benefit is our local Celtic community’s way to help with the financial burden now faced by Ryan and Heather. Thanks to the efforts of Deanna Smith-Scotland and Craig Scotland, there will be numerous items for a raffle and silent auction. The owner of the Plaza Pub is having food catered in as his "donation to the cause". To partake, we’ll ask for a donation.
The musical line up for the benefit will be:
4:00 - 4:45 - Beyond the Pale
5:15 - 6:00 - Bards’ Crossing
6:30 - 7:30 - Needfire
Immediately after the benefit, the Trinity River Whalers will start performing at 9:00 p.m.
