(un)apologetic productions presents Theatre Matters: An Evening with the Women of Samuel Beckett
(un)apologetic productions, a community based theatre organization in the Johnstown area will be performing three short plays by famed absurdist playwright and director, Samuel Beckett, at 8:30PM on September 10th, 11th, and 12th, at the Satori Gallery, 155 Village St. Johnstown, PA.
During this evening of artistic and educational programming, the three plays, Not I, Come and Go, and Rockaby-- each featuring women only, will be followed by a discussion with Joshua Hoover, (un)apologetic productions artistic director, Randy Jeffreys, director of Not I, and Come and Go, and Scott Jeffreys, director of Rockaby.
The mission of (un)apologetic productions is to provide cultural and artistic enrichment for the underserved communities in Western Pennsylvania, while supporting the development of a connection between the arts and the services provided by the many local social service and non-profit organizations. In June, When the World Was Green raised over three-hundred dollars for the Keystone Chapter of the American Red Cross. Theatre Matters is programming devoted to education and the proliferation of an appreciation of the Theatre arts. Any organization interested in collaborating on future projects should feel free to contact Joshua Hoover, founding artistic director.
Tickets can be purchased for $10.00, cash only, at the door. Reserve your seats by emailing unapologeticproductions@gmail.com or by calling (814) 244-3135.
