service from 7 to 9 pm (doors open at 6 pm ~ Yule Fest from 9 to 10 pm) A North Texas tradition of more than 16 years, Winter SolstiCelebration is focused on a two-hour service that explores the regenerative grace of darkness and the redemptive power of light. A montage of song, ceremony, music, ritual, poetry and dance explore a spiritual theme unique to each year. Movement, chanting, sing-a-longs, yoga and other opportunities for active audience participation create a whole-bodied connection to the divine. Doors open an hour before the service; it’s recommended to come early for a good seat. The lobby percolates in a lively Yule Fest with roving characters, Cosmic Carolers, a silent auction and the Earth Rhythms store. Pictures with Father Winter take place in a quite nook. Transformational videos play on the video screens. After the service is another hour of Yule Fest also featuring live music, a snack feast and lots of fellowship. Winter SolstiCelebration is proud to be green. Paper, plastic and food waste is recycled or composted. Recycled paper is used for programs, fliers and brochures. The church uses Green Mountain Energy
