Hayseed Dixie have shot to prominence in recent years on the strength of a genius idea and a killer live show. These top-class bluegrass pickers started out distilling a potent moonshine of classic string-band instrumentation and rock dynamics on covers of AC/DC songs then broadened their repertoire to include classic tracks from the likes of Queen, Aerosmith, Motorhead, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and have now brought their unique "rockgrass" sound full circle with some superb original material.
