Daniel "Danny" Ahern from Newport, Co. Tipperary, Ireland & John "Hammer" Dickinson from upstate New York opened The Iron Horse Pub in downtown Wichita Falls, Texas September 2000. Dano "Santos" Reyna is the general manager. He has been here since the doors first opened and has years of experience in the industry. John is an avid hunter and a general contractor. You can see some of his amazing carpentry work through out the Pub. The Irish man "Danny" likes to play Rugby and likes wheeling and dealing. As for Dano, he loves to practice his shooting skills and watch the Dallas Cowboys. He also loves to not "carry" his cell phone. We have over 50 different kinds of beer, 23 beers on tap, and a liquor selection that will make your head spin. The Iron Horse Pub caterers to your needs. We are professionals at organizing any type of party with food, cake, balloons, live music, and all the drinks and fun you can handle. We are known for the best live music and we are friendliest around. As they say in Ireland, "We have the best craic in town." (craic in Ireland means fun) Our famous motto is "One More and then you can leave." The Pub is involved in a lot of charity work and we are very active in our community with several organizations. Our goals are to bring a since of pride and spirit to the bar scene without the gimmicks and cheap drinks (watery drinks). We have happily made our goals and day by day, we add to our family of friends with the best customers in town. We are an Irish Pub and we are also one of the most popular Live Music Venues in the nation. Come out and have a pint or two with us!
