To coincide with the London Jazz Festival Mopomoso presents an extended evening of music from the freer end of things.
The excellent electro-acoustic duo of Lawrence Casserley and Adam Linson use self developed programmes to manipulate instrumental sounds in real time while the fiery Italian trio Fliario Farinoppo mix electric and acoustic instruments with onboard effects. Alex Maguire and Simon Picard provide an intense work out of harmony and melody in their tight knit duo while Claudia Binder’s solo piano playing offers lighter textures and space. The duo of John Russell and Roger Turner is one of the longest standing partnerships in improvised music and justly acclaimed for the flair and invention they bring to every concert.
