W.O.O.: Mambo Mantis
Master improvisers of avant-core noise, W.O.O.: Mambo Mantis subtly rearrange particulate matter at every show, often resulting in an ultrasonic molecular cleansing for the adventurous listener. It feels good.

Carl Testa Quartet
Composer Carl Testa, most notable for his numerous performances and recordings with the legendary composer, multi-instrumentalist Anthony Braxton, is releasing his debut recording as a leader. The CD entitled Uncertainty features 10 tracks of 9 original compositions that blend jazz, free improvisation, chamber music, and electronic music. It showcases a unique ensemble that includes clarinets, saxophone, string bass, percussion, and electronics. The quartet of James Antonucci, Bill Carbone, Gergely Kiss, and Carl Testa mix and match the instrumentation to create a music that is dynamically varied while retaining a consistent group sound and compositional focus.
