A Concert Event that Features Local Bands
YES!+ (Yes Plus) is the youth division of the Art of Living, which is the world’s largest volunteer-run nonprofit. The Art of Living Foundation is working in 154 countries and has reached 300 million people worldwide.
We are youth leaders who are committed to the vision of a violence-free and stress-free society. To engage the city of Vancouver in our vision, we are organizing a concert (YES!+ FEST ’09 – Vancouver) where we will bring together strong, emerging, leaders from the community and take an oath for a violence-free, stress-free society. While supported by the Art of Living Foundation, the event is a sole initiative of Vancouver-based young professionals and students. You can find out more information at www.yesplusvancouver.ca
We are looking to involve/engage members of the community to make a difference and contribute to its success! This concert is a drug-free, alcohol-free event and will profile local artists, dignitaries and community leaders. The event will be attended by a few hundred people and will be covered by local media.
