Description
A mobile party on board a biodiesel powered bus with 3 great DJs/Producers? Damn Straight. With couches lining the sides, a great sound system, and a dancefloor in the back this is no ordinary bus. We stop at 2-3 beautiful outdoor locations over the course of our ride for dancing and merriment.
We are very excited to present a special night with Daly City Records artists. Featuring head honcho Mochi Pet, up and comer Deceptikon and J. Tonal of The Flying Skulls this night is guaranteed to be off the chain! Seriously, DO NOT SLEEP on this one amigos.
It’s hard to know where to start with a producer as dynamic as Mochipet. Let’s just let URB magazine say it:"Mochipet is making one hell of an argument—for hip hop and even music in general....One very versatile producer....a strong roster of guest emcees and bass custom built to move booties of the large persuasion." http://www.myspace.com/mochipet
Deceptikon has been tearing up underground parties in the Bay for a minute now. Rumored to be a recent transplant we’re excited to welcome him to the area and give him a nice tour on a bus. http://www.myspace.com/dkonmusic
The Flying Skulls have been on a tear lately, dipping their wings into just about everything. The crew bummed-rushed a few choice shows this summer and melted dance floors at The Big Bounce/Belden, Trinumeral/Asheville, Symbiosis Gathering/Yosemite, and most recently The Independent/SF with Boombox and Ana Sia. Dubbed the ’Kings of Improvisational Beat Bashing’ by Chrome Kids, The Skulls have been bringing it hard and to-the-point with maximum live electronic mayhem.Crowds across the country have been eating up the group’s off-the-clock style, mean dirty bass sounds, and complex rhythms, while memorable sets in the festival circuit have garnered the performers a huge crossover fan-base. We’re excited to welcome the leader of the group, J. Tonal, on to the bus to drop some laptop wizardry on us. http://www.myspace.com/theflyingskulls
