We’re not gone forever but this is definitely the last Bonkers! thrown as people know it. I haven’t really said it here yet but I think we were blessed to have the support we have thus far.
Many people made Bonkers! happen- Erictronic, Ya No Mas, Mr Zillion, The Algebra of Need, our recent designer Robert Allyn Flores and the eccentric unspoken man all helped keep things going and progressing. Looptid Visuals has been part of us since very close to the beginning and is a genius with what he does- true mad science coupled with ADHD motivation. Promoters- book him for visuals, he is stunning.
There’s so many people to thank and a few to hit in the face as well, for good measure 45 shows, 2+ years, and some of the most challenging, exciting, and expressive music I’ve had the good grace of hearing has made our events.
Anyhow, we are moving on to focus on the future. We need to pay some more attention to our loved ones, focus on making music, and explore more of the world around us. This night is a fitting end.
