Ordinary Space to Sacred Place - Discussion, Panel, Q & A Session
What happens to transform your own backyard, a ball diamond, or a street corner into a memorable and treasured place? Five Central Indiana luminaries will share their personal stories of how an ordinary space was infused with special meaning for them. Singer/songwriter Carrie Newcomer will tell her own experience and then intersperse her favorite songs about sacred spaces as Deanna Dewberry, Michael S. Maurer, Anne Ryder, David Shaheed tell their personal stories. This evening of music and story will invite you into the 2009 Inspiring Places festival and spark your thinking and conversation about the sacred places in your own life.
