With diverse and eclectic influences from across the musical spectrum -Billy Bragg to The Libertines, Bob Marley to The Maccabees, they are more than simple songwriters, they are storytellers weaving contemporary tales of things we have all done and people we all we know - if not in real life then from exposure to Daytime TV.The stories of these ’Idle Idols’ - the not-so-happy ’Larry’, dark and dangerous ’Femme Fagin’, the infamous ’Charlie Blow’ and ’That Girl’ nextdoor - come to life against a sound track of Indie jangle, blue-eyed reggae and white boy Ska that makes you dance and think at the same time.
