Good Shoes have managed to take jangling early Cure and make it into charming, breezy guitar pop, Morrissey on the day he finally realises how to pull the fork from his arse. Lovely chap and front-man Rhys does a fine job of the lyrics too, brilliantly managing to combine am awareness of the vulnerabilities of the male psyche with an honest vocal style. We await imminent debut album ’Think Before You Speak’ with increasingly keen anticipation. ID IS ESSENTIAL!!
