The Warped 45s are a Toronto based band touring Canada. You can check them out at www.thewarped45s.com or www.myspace.com/thewarped45s
They are a 5 piece band, playing original folk rock, hot off the release of their first full length album under Pheremone Records. They are receiving regular air play on CBC Radio, charting on college radio, and received their first national press at the end of September. They have had the opportunity to open for acts such as Elliot Brood, The Sky Diggers and Justin Rutledge to name a few. Now they are coming to Parson!!!
I (Dan) had the pleasure of growing up with front man Dave McEathron in Bancroft Ontario, Dave has been a performing musician since I met him in grade 7, playing in a multitude of bands over the years. He also received formal music training at Humber College in Toronto. He has released 2 solo albums previous to this endeavour. The band has chosen the ’House’ over the bar - as a preferred venue.
All are welcome
Please make an effort to attend and continue to support live Canadian music in Golden.
We will create a special intimate atmosphere, in our unique home, in which you will have every opportunity to meet the band and enjoy what they do.
