'how the seasons change' I really have to concentrate on the music with this track, I can't identify all the instruments being played, I'm listening to the 'background' there seems to be lots going on but still a very strong track. it keeps you very interested, again very strong lyrics & very strong vocals makes this track a very beautiful song.
'ain't enough to satisfy me' it's those lyrics again and that voice....that's all it needs and says it all and what a great ending for the song. Some people would kill to have a voice like this, another great song!!
'lost in your arms' finds itself right in the middle of the album and is a key track, more like a classic rock song. I can imagine Ozzy Osbourne singing this song,, (yes really!) it slows things up a bit with the pace but loses nothing in delivery and just adds a bit more spice before we start the final part of the album, another brilliant track.
'just because I let you down' more great guitar, who is this man!! more great vocals, who is this girl!!
'let it rain' Ashlee your voice has changed so much since I last heard it and this track really expresses this feeling, just a lovely song I can see why its being considered for a movie. Very moving & a very touching song.
'soul survivor' a very different feel to this track then all the others. Perhaps where most of the other tracks are more rock oriented, this has a more of a pop song edge to it, but very, very catchy all the same. This song brings a different feel to the album.
'that's the way I feel inside' just brings a tear to my eyes...some very special lyrics here, perhaps we're all caught in the great divide. Another very fine track and those vocal chords make this a very special song. I love it to bits
'devils town' where is this devils town?? I must admit I do love the beat to this track, I think we all need to go down to the devils town where ever it may be!! again...a great uptempo feel the the album.
'live it up' some very powerful vocals to finish the album and another strong contender for best track,, could it be Sheryl Crow meets Shania Twain!! now that's SEXY............................................................................
An album you should be very proud of...I know I love playing it, thank you for sharing it.
