The Prairie Dawgs have been prolific on Ireland’s ever growing Roots scene for almost two years now.
What started out as a country duo has quickly swelled to the kick-ass nine-piece it is today. The Dawgs play their own brand of original Country/Americana. They have gained a growing reputation for their rousing live shows, not least of all the Tumbleweed Love Sessions, which they host every month in the Cobblestone.
Rumour has it that’Aint no Money’, a track from their forthcoming debut album, was leaked on the internet and is currently a favourite around Dail Eireann!
The Dawgs’s much anticipated eponymous debut album is released on 30 October 2009 in The Village on Wexford Street.
