Skip vonKuske has built his career on performing in diverse musical groups and on recordings. In Vagabond Opera and the Portland Cello Project he has performed all over North America and Europe. His knowledge of diverse styles and gift for improvisation has made him highly in demand as a studio musician and he has guested on hundreds of CD releases. This recital will combine classical, jazz, original compositions, and the music of Carmina Luna to paint a musical portrait of stark beauty and the feelings of Loss, to honor the passing of his mother after her long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
