Skaville UK formed in 2006. The group is based around the nucleus of the bands two main songwriters: Nick Welsh (Vocals/Bass) was a member of The Selecter co-writing & producing 4 albums for the band and 2 CDs for the offshoot Selecter Acoustic. Nick has also played with, written & produced artists like Bad Manners, Busters Allstars, Prince Buster, Dave Barker, King Hammond, Laurel Aitken, Judge Dread, Rico Rodriguez ,Rhoda Dakar & 3 Men & Black alongside J.J. Burnel (The Stranglers), Jake Burns (Stiff little fingers), Bruce Foxton (The Jam) & Pauline Black (The Selecter). Louis Alphonso (vocals/guitar) was The Original guitarist in Bad Manners.
