Francis Lickerish is most famous as the guitarist, composer and founder member of 70’s classic progressive rock band The Enid, with whom he composed and recorded classic albums such as In the Region of the Summer Stars and Aerie Faerie Nonsense. After some time away from the music scene, Francis has returned with his new band, Secret Green, who recently released their debut album ‘To Wake The King’, receiving great reviews and accolades along the way, being widely feted in the progressive & folk world as possibly the album of 2009. Secret Green’s line up also includes Willie Gilmour (composer / keyboard player with The Enid), Jon Beedle (guitarist for Cliff Richard amongst many others!) and Hilary Palmer on vocals. A great opportunity to see a unique band, still capturing the unique sound of the early days of The Enid, but with a totally fresh approach with Hilary Palmer’s beautiful vocals. A powerful live experience not to be missed. With support from Hebden Bridge singer/songwriter Nic Chapman and his band, playing songs from his forthcoming album ‘Narrow Road To The Deep North’
