THIS IS A SPECIAL BENEFIT CONCERT FOR WALSH JESUIT’S LABRE PROGRAM. Below are some more details. Come out and support! It’s a great time of year to give back and help bring food and friendship to the homeless of Akron.

Each Monday evening 5pm – 9pm (even throughout the summer) students gather at Walsh Jesuit to prepare food and pray, then they load up the Walsh Jesuit van and head to the streets of downtown Akron to bring food and friendship to the homeless. They typically stop at seven different locations before returning to Walsh Jesuit for a reflection. Labre recently celebrated its third anniversary, the program began in November of 2006. Students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni have gone out 159 consecutive Monday’s to deliver food and friendship to Akron’s homeless.
Kira & Jeff are alumni of Walsh Jesuit and felt it would be great to help out this amazing charity program at their old high school. It is a great cause and we hope to raise money and awareness for them to grow and continue to do amazing work! We will be donating half of our merchandise sales that night as well and will also be accepting donations.
