Jade Sylvan is a writer living in Boston. Her work has been seen and heard across the country. She is currently on tour promoting her first full-length book of poetry, The Spark Singer. You can reach her at jadesylvan@gmail.com.

She moved to Boston in January, 2007. She created this blog to chronicle the experience of a struggling young writer in an old city rich in literary tradition, and also to provide commentary on the various literary events and gatherings around town.
She is aware of the difficulty many unknown writers have getting published and circulated. This way, regardless of whether or not she eventually succeeds, the process will be recorded and available to anyone interested enough to read it.
