Jimmy Buffett opened his new restaurant in Hawaii earlier this year and if you haven’t been there yet, this is your excuse to go. Everything about it is fantastic. Let’s start with the FREE parking. Turn off Kalakaua onto Duke’s Lane, right across from the Apple Store in Waikiki. Valet park at the Outrigger Beachcomber Hotel, go up the escalator and you’re there. Get your ticket validated and the trip to Waikiki just became worth it. Moving on to the food, if you buy the dinner package, you get a reserved table up front with an excellent view of the stage. Don’t be expecting a cheeseburger in paradise. They are serving fresh, delicious cuisine like blue crab and corn soup, teriyaki sirloin steak, mahi mahi, coconut shrimp and more. You even get a free margarita, beer or glass of wine included. They’ve also created a special menu the keiki will love. The sound and lights are top quality and John is bringing his entire band with him, so put on your dancing slippers. The entire venue is beautifully set up for this type of event.
