Workers Without Borders, United In Struggle Trabajadores Sin Frontreras, Unidos En Lucha We are a Coalition of community members, grassroots, political, community and religious based organizations and Labor Unions through a peaceful, organized march in San Francisco. We seek to resurrect the historical significance of May 1st in the international labor/worker struggle and to reignite the labor movement by integrating the current undocumented worker struggle of obtaining Amnesty and stop the raids and deportations. We believe this struggle is about workers rights, and should be incorporated into social justice issues if we are to strive for a fairer and much more peaceful world. http://sites.google.com/site/movement4amnesty/ Event to raise funds to repay the costs of last year’s May 1st march for immigrant rights & to begin raising funds for the highly necessary one next year. The event will be at SF Sub-Mission, we will have 3 awesome bands (www.thankyoujulius.com download their songs for FREE and Renee Asteria), DJ Chief Boima will be spinning everything from afro-diaspora, cumbias, merengue and more. We will also be showing "We are still here", a film that documents the police brutality of the LAPD on May 1st, 2007 at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. $10 donation for questions call 619-274-0894 "Whatever country you are from, the worker’s struggle will be won!"
