Mark Bryan will be sharing the stage with Tyler Mechem, Jeremy Current, and Joe Firstman. The four will be giving insight to the inspiration behind their music on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 8 p.m. at the Music Farm, 32 Ann Street, downtown. Tickets are $10 dollars in advance at etix.com and the Music Farm box office; $10 at the door. Mark Bryan is a founding member, songwriter, and the guitar player for the multi-platinum band Hootie and the Blowfish. Bryan continues to write, record, and produce solo material including his most recent solo album End of the Front. Tyler Mechem, a local favorite from the up and coming band Crowfield, will be performing hits from the most recent Crowfield release Goodbye, Goodnight, So Long Midwestern as well as his own work. Blending country, indie rock, and pop influences, Jeremy Current’s music echoes the basic human desire to connect with others, and the aftermath of those relationships’ painful, chaotic destruction. His debut EP, House on Fire, was released October 2009. Joe Firstman a singer songwriter, originally from North Carolina, is known for his combination of country and rock, showcased on his most recent release El Porto. He is known for touring with acts such as Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Willie Nelson and his work as the “band leader” on Carson Daly’s Last Call television show.
