Happy Holidays!!! First and foremost, I wish all of you a happy and joyous holiday season. This is my favorite time of the year, starting with my birthday in November, making our way thru Thanksgiving (turkey...yum!), sharing in the spirit of Christmas and blowing in the New Year with a fun gig or two. This is a special program that features my students and my group WorlView 4.0. We’ll be playing at the Dana Street Roasting Company on December 18th at 7pm with my group WorlView 4.0. Joining me will be a half dozen of my “jazzers”. They’ll get a chance to strut their stuff with a “worl” class jazz group. There will also be student ensembles playing holiday music and a special guest or two. It will be an evening filled with joyous music and much holiday cheer. I encourage you all to attend and lend them your support in what will be an exciting evening of jazz and holiday music. For the last two years, we’ve had a blast doing this and the folks at Dana St. Roasting Co. were very happy when I approached them to do this again. They are located right around the corner from Hope St. Studios on Dana St right between Castro and Hope St. There is no charge - but there will be a “tip” jar out to help cover the cost of my rhythm section.
