  Music listeners of the world, clearly, you love you some Muse and Ke$ha. This week, it was announced that both artists broke chart records for their current singles. Muse have now spent a staggering 18 weeks at the top of the Alternative Rock Singles charts with their runaway hit "Uprising." The previous record was held by a band that knows a thing or two about owning commercial rock radio: Foo Fighters.

  Soundgarden reunite, make lots of people happy

  If only to prove that there are no seminal grunge bands left to reunite, Chris Cornell announced over the holiday weekend that Soundgarden will be getting back together this year. Soundgarden came to prominence in the early '90s with multi-platinum albums like Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, before disbanding later in the decade.
