Ohio's goth-tinged trip-hop duo Hungry Lucy formed in 1998, when producer/multi-instrumentalist War-N Harrison needed a vocalist for a track he was doing for a Duran Duran tribute; after meeting and collaborating with singer/songwriter Christa Belle, they started writing original songs together.
After receiving a good response to the early efforts they posted on www.mp3.com, Hungry Lucy issued their debut album, Apparitions, in 2000. They continued to record and tour locally and returned in 2003 with their sophomore effort, Glo, which featured a lighter, more diverse sound than their first album. ~ Heather Phares
